The following is the SMTP dialogue from the perspective of the mail server.  Based on \
this, it appears that after receiving a 554 rejection from the mail server, Kmail \
tries to continue and send DATA. Mail server is Postfix 2.2.10.  This is across a \
very lightly loaded 10MB ethernet connection, so network issues are unlikely to have \
been a factor.
