This is still a problem.  Scanning my ogg collection (over 8000 songs) took forever \
(over an hour).  While it is scanning the window is unresponsive and does not \
refresh/redraw.

Once it was done, it was mostly okay.  However, I just pressed the a playlist that \
had about 8000 songs that *were not* in the collection and has become unresponsive \
again.

Going into the cover manager takes over a minute to load up my album covers, and I \
have only a few.

I would expect that while it's doing work, it will tell me, but that the rest of the \
app would continue to work fine.  And that choosing some other operation would either \
background the ongoing operation or would cancel it (so it could be resumed later).

This is version 1.3.9.
