And what kmplayer can detect? Only mplayer output? If so, then there are infos about \
used filters:

Opening video filter: [expand w=0 h=-100]
Expand: 0 x -100, -1 ; -1  (-1=autodetect) osd: 0
Opening video filter: [expand w=0 h=456]
Expand: 0 x 456, -1 ; -1  (-1=autodetect) osd: 0

w/h <0 adds to movie size, w/h>0 sets size to a value if its > movie_(w/h).

If you cant detect mplayer window size would be nice to have at least expand filter \
working properly, so one can put subtitles on black bands.
