Summary: Interface to extend Kicker pop-up calendar?
           Product: kicker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: aseigo kde org
        ReportedBy: rdm docreate net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Is there an interface (sh/dcop/d-bus/python/other) to the pop-up calendar available \
in the KDE taskbar? It would be very useful to be able to click on a day number in \
the display and launch an arbitrary command, and for it to be implemented in such a \
way as to maximise user control of that.

For example, clicking on 17 June would open Kontact or the user's selected PIM suite \
to display that day in a preset way: the emails received on that day, the schedule \
for that day, or even a kdialog-designed menu to show the view choices.

If there is not a simple way to do this, can it be implemented?
