Well, ok, I see the big picture, and I do think your wish is valid, you're the 
second one to ask actually. 

However, there's one thing I'm not completely sure about yet: you say having 
all notes appear on all desktops would not be helpful (which generally I 
agree to). Yet I deduce that this means you keep the notes visible after 
creating them. So you create a note on desktop 3, leave it open, switch to 
desktop 1, select the note and get dragged back to desktop 3, right? If I 
understand you correctly, what you're proposing then is: in the above case 
you want KNotes to move your note to desktop 1 when selecting it instead of 
moving to the desktop of the note?

Because this is quite a different wish than "don't save the desktop of a 
note", which would mean that once you close a note and re-open it by 
selecting it from the list, the note would pop-up on the current desktop and 
not on the one it was last visible.
