           Summary: Automatic KDM greeter size
           Product: kdm
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: ossi kde org
        ReportedBy: Ronny.Standtke gmx net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I am running X with a 1600x1200 resolution. The KDM greeter is very tiny at this \
resolution, a lot of screenspace is unused and the user list must be scrolled even \
though with a larger greeter size all of them would be visible. It would be great if \
the KDM greeter size per default automatically adapts to the screen size (e.g. 50% of \
both dimensions). It would be even better if this feature would be configurable via \
the kcontrol module. This way you could let the user even choose custom greeter \
dimensions.
