I see, thanks for the explanation. I don't think this is a KDirLister bug anymore. \
The problem is that the rename action does not change the Name= field, as you said \
already. 

I like your suggestion to automatically add/remove the .desktop bit to/from the \
filename and put the user entered string also into the Name= field. That would solve \
the problem.

David, what do you think? Wanna do it? ;-) Might take me a while because I'll be on a \
research meeting till next Wednesday.
