Fixed now, for real.
Related to this, there was wrong code in the following files:

    kchart/kdchart/KDChartParams.cpp
    kchart/kdchart/KDChartParams.h
    kchart/kdchart/KDChartParams_io.cpp
    kchart/kdchart/KDFrame.cpp
    kchart/kdchart/KDFrameProfileSection.cpp
and
    kchart/kchart_part.cc

Please update your 1.6 branch, to get the bugfix.
