Because message display (and thus decryption) is a synchronous process right now and \
fixing that involves a redesign. Unfortunately nobody had the time/will to do that \
yet.

It's not ignored, it's just not important enough for somebody to fix it. If it's \
important for you then either you have to fix it yourself (I know, no option for \
users) or find somebody that knows how to fix the problem.
