it_IT defaults to latin1, so I choose to keep a latin1 locale (it_IT) or UTF-8 \
(it_IT.UTF-8).

But I don't want to use any locale at all. And at the same time I'd like to access my \
files. Even those how have names with greek letters (iso-8859-7).

I mean, if a locale is not specified, then amarok/KIO/KDE should assume that the \
encoding for filenames is UTF-8. This should be the safest bet in 2006.
