Version:           1.4.0a (using KDE KDE 3.4.2KDE 1.2)
Installed from:    RedHat RPMsRedHat RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 3.4.4 
OS:                Linux

I have Redhat Enterprise Linux Workstation version 4 update 2 with KDE 3.4.4.  I have \
successfully compiled from source every version of Amarok from 1.3.8 through \
1.4.0beta3 but the full 1.4.0a release I am unable to compile.

There seem to be some documentation problems in the build which prevent successful \
compilation. I will be happy to run tests and provide any more requested information \
about the issue, just let me know.  Thanks!

The build I'm trying right now is just a plain command-line based ./configure with no \
parameters followed by a make.  The configure summary is as follows:
