If you get a similar error, look at the processor usage. As long as the line in present in one(doesn't matter which one) or both files, i have no problems installing/deleteing. As for the segmentation fault: i traced it to a corrupt fontfile: martlett.ttf Don't know how it got corrupted, but when i put it in the .fonts directory, kfontinst -x /root/.fonts gives a segmentation fault. If i take it out, all is well. Regarding bug #124007 i have no problems viewing non-installed fonts in konqeror's "preview" and kfontview, i think i never did, not even when fedora5 was just 4 days old.
