Threading is definately the solution. However, threading support is much better in \
QT4 than in QT3. I have recently ported a thread-based application to QT4 and it \
would be easier to implement it then, rather than waste time developing it now and \
redeveloping it latter. This problem has been in KMail for quite a while and and \
maybe we should just wait until KDE 4 is out.
