Version:           1.4 beta 3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

In the last two beta version of amarok 1.4 the splashscreen cannot be disabled \
although the apropiate checkbox, "Show splash-screen on startup" in the configuration \
is disabled. I don't know of previous betas because i didn't use them.
