I see the exception just after the line (might be that you have to add -Dkjas.debug=1 in 'Additional java arguments'):
 KJAS: Certificates 3 for (java.util.PropertyPermission javaplugin.version read)
Now if I add there as well ' -Djavaplugin.version=1.4.2_06' is works somewhat better, though complains about OS and browser then.

Not sure if this is a bug, ie. if we should pretend to be the plugin from the java SDK
