I have the same problem and I am using KDE 3.5.2 with SuSE Linux 10 (SuSE Provided \
RPMs).

However I don't have to do nothing special or the panel to move itself. Sometimes \
when I select an application from the taskbar (which is in the panel), the panel goes \
from top to bottom!! After this happens, when I go to the control center, it still \
says that the panel is at the top, although that is not true.

I only use a panel on the top, with the usual stuff.

It only happens from time to time, but it is very annoying to have to go to the \
control center to send the panel back to the top.
