Could you please confirm that you're using an updated version of the DGBp plugin \
together with the updated Quanta before I dig into this more?

For example:
$ find / -iname *quantadebugger*
/usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggerdbgp.la
/usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggerdbgp.so
/usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggergubed.la
/usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggergubed.so
$ ls -al /usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggerdbgp*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root   1388 Dec  6 21:59 /usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggerdbgp.la
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 137148 Dec  6 22:09 /usr/lib/kde3/quantadebuggerdbgp.so

--> check the dates of all the quantadebuggerdgbp files and verify that they have the \
same date as your quanta executable (at least if you built yourself, if you install \
from packages im not sure what date they get, but probably install date and then they \
should be the same as well).

Furthermore - if your "find" command returns more than one version of the module, \
make sure that quanta is using the correct one (for example by renaming/deleting the \
ones that shouldnt be used)

If it turns out that you have only one version of the plugin and it matches the \
quanta version, could you supply a backtrace?

thanks for reporting!

/linus
