It crashes here too: kdevelop-3.2.2, kde-3.5.1, debian testing.
It's incredibly inconvenient since crash handler blocks logout, so to shut laptop \
down I need to either close kdevelop, then log out, or use shutdown in terminal (once \
laptop has been turned on in my backpack for an hour because of this, it got really \
hot).
