------- I have the feeling that your KDE binary packages do not match the kile binary \
package completely. The crash seems to be in katepart, that is the core KDE \
libraries. If there is a binary incompatibility then the app will crash when the \
incompatibility is triggered. Could be a bug in katepart too of course. Hard to tell \
without a backtrace or debug output.
