This is the workaround I use: I installed alterMIME from [ \
http://www.pldaniels.com/altermime/ ] (package 'altermime' on Debian) and created a \
filter rule for it. Use the filter action "Pipe Through" with 'altermime --removeall \
--input=-'. Be sure not to apply this filter to all incoming messages. You might \
apply it to all outgoing messages. Choose a nice name and icon and add it to the \
Apply Filter menu. Now you can remove all attachments of single or whole selections \
of messages.
