I reconfigured and recompiled kdevelop with BDB 4.0, as shown by these config.log \
entries:

configure:33202: checking for Berkeley DB >= 3
configure:33355: result: yes - <=4.0

During running, I made sure that kdevelop uses the BDB library version 4.0. Inspite \
of these changes, kdevelop continues to freeze as before. Therefore, I think that the \
cause of the freeze may not be related to BDB version. Looks like I would have to \
revert to kdevelop-3.2.x.
