causes konqueror to start consuming all available memory until the kernel steps in \
and kills it. The same thing happens in Firefox, so the problem is probably with \
giflib (I'm using version 4.1.3), not with Konqueror, but I thought reporting it here \
might precipitate change. _______________________________________________
