Summary: fish tries to login for every character change in user
                    name (of user host)
           Product: kio
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: RedHat RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: fish
        AssignedTo: trouble garni ch
        ReportedBy: hlprasu yahoo com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1KDE 3.4.3KDE 1.2)
Installed from: RedHat RPMsFedora RPMsFedora RPMs

The fish KIO slave tries to login to remote server for every change in the user name.
E.g.: With 'fish://username host/', if I edit it in the location bar itself, say I \
change it to 'user' by deleting the 'name' word from the middle then the fish would \
try logging in for userame
userme
usere
user

These login attempts will obviously fail and get logged in ssh logs on the server. \
This will look like a hacking attempt to the server admins.

So, kindly correct this problem.

I believe that the same problem exists for other protocols such as "smb" and "ftp".
