------- Additional Comments From fdiaza gmail com 2006-01-18 18:36 -------
We are working in the same project, but each one has separate copies of the files in \
our home directories. Doing additional testing we have found how to reproduce the \
problem. The deciding factor that determines wich kdevelop process causes the load is \
wich user executes it for the first time since booting up the computer. The second \
user to fire it causes a 100% cpu load, even if the other user isn't using kdevelop. \
This remains so until the computer is restarted. Having multiple instances of \
kdevelop open by the first user doesn't cause high cpu load, the symptom only appears \
when the second user opens a kdevelop project, even with no files from it open. The \
only non-standard configuration we are using i can think of is that our display \
manager is not kdm, but gdm.
