ups ... sorry about the confusion

about "configurable" i meant the possibility to turn it off

i had tooltips (the small ones) disabled in the whole kicker... the big tooltips (the \
new ones from kde 3.5.0) i meant to show the song that is played. 

if i enable tooltips (the samll ones) then i see the song - great! main thing solved \
*g*

for the copy tag function: it's only a nice thing if while chatting with people they \
ask what this song is. i have a very bad memory for song names and use this function \
in amarok frequently. however i see your point that there is not much space for it in \
mediacontrol applet. the only place is the context-menu...
