KDevelop 3.1.4 does not exist!!
What version do you really have ?
Did you compile with -O1, -O2 or -O3 ?
Did you read the FAQ on www.kdevelop.org ?

Please update to 3.3.0 or 3.3.50 (kdevelop/3.4 branch)
Take a look at the extensive changelogs in the kdevelop.org website. The new KDevelop \
versions have fixed many things in the debugger.
