Sounds like your installation somehow got broken when konq crashed. Check that \
$KDEDIR/share/services/kfile_mp3.desktop and $KDEDIR/lib/kde3/kfile_mp3.so exist. If \
not, deinstall and reinstall kdemultimedia.
