Suppose you have appropriate fonts installed. I use TrueType fonts from Microsoft \
(e.g. Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New) with cp1251 encoding which I've installed \
from FreeBSD ports.

HTML test for Konqueror:
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
NUMERO SIGN: &#8470;
</body>
</html>

Test for text editors. Open kwrite (kate, kword). Switch layout to RU (command from \
kcontrol: setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout ru -variant winkeys). Press shift+3 (# in \
EN layout).

With qt-3.3.4 I can see numero sign (like in \
http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U2100.pdf). With qt-3.3.5 I see an empty rectangle.

By the way, there is no problem when I replace default font in Konqueror and text \
editors from True Type to any bitmap font with cp1251 encoding.
