I am starting to wonder if this could depend on the setting.

Can somebody having this bug attach its $KDEHOME/share/config/kbabelrc file (here \
$KDEHOME is typically ~/.kde )?

Also perhaps somebody having the crash could try to move that file to a sfae place \
and then start KBabel (which will create such a new configuration). Can you still \
make it crash?
