Summary: Cannot copy or move files with non latin character names
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: ryujin_ssdt yahoo co uk

Version: 3.4.91 (using KDE KDE 3.4.91)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.6
OS: Linux

After upgrade to kde-3.5_beta1 I cannot copy files (by dragging) folders from one \
window to another if the filename of the files (dirs or individual) have non latin \
chars (Japanese in my case).

I get an error dialog complaining the file is not found and I can see the filename of \
the file I selected to move is garbled (lot of garbage characters apperas where the \
japanese kanji is supposed to be).
