Summary: option to "stop playing after track" on any track in
playlist
Product: amarok
Version: 1.3.1
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: FreeBSD
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist lists sourceforge net
ReportedBy: x vex net
Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 3.4.2, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.2 [FreeBSD] 20040728
OS: FreeBSD (amd64) release 5.4-RELEASE
I love the "stop playing after current track" option found on the context menu which \
pops up if you right click on the song which is currently playing (and now also on \
the popdown on the stop button)...
I often which however i could activate that option on a song which is a little \
further down on my play list...
Say i have ten songs in playlist, and am currently on song 5, and decide i need to \
stop the player soon... but the next song is irresistible... i should be able to \
right click on song 6 and say "stop after this one".
Yes, may have complications when in random mode... maybe not have the option in \
random mode... or maybe someone out there wants the player to randomly stop. <-: But \
seriously, it would be useful in many situations.
Since "Random Mix" dynamic playlist was introduced I hardly use random mode \
anymore... and often am wishing I could tell amarok to stop automatically 3 or 4 \
songs after the current one playing.
I can fake this of course by turning off dynamic mode and removing all the remaining \
songs from the playlist... but that's inconvenient.
So i've tried to convince someone to offer this option just by bulk of rambling here \
here it seems.
