I think it will complicate matters in a way that it is inpossible to \
satisfy everyone. So someone edits it in gimp, then edits it in digikam. \
What should we do then, protect the original image (before gimp) or the \
modified one (after gimp). I can tell you there will be a bug where a user \
screams: "hey, my modification in gimp cost me ages, now i reverted to the \
original image and now my gimp work is lost. I'll keep #0 in mind, butthe \
rest not, maybe another developer wants to work on this, you never know.
