Summary: wildcards in location bar do not work anymore
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: l.savernik aon at
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Since KDE 2.0, and up to and including KDE 3.4.0, Konqueror supported wildcards in \
its address bar to allow for simple filtering, e. g. entering "*.txt" would return a \
list of all files ending in .txt.
Since KDE 3.4.2, entering any address with a wildcard will return the error message \
"File or folder <entered address> does not exist".
This is a severe regression that should be fixed asap.
