Hi,

I also have an 8600 and experience the same problem with FC4 and KDE 3.4.1. I would \
also tend to support the idea that the problem is with kmilo and not the i8k utils. 

Prior to KDE 3.4.x I was using kmilo fine together with the i8k plugin for gkrellm to \
control my fans. With KDE 3.4.x kmilo broke *but* the gkrellm plugin has continued to \
work fine. Also, the i8k* command line options still appear OK. So, from my end it \
does look like its kmilo thats broken and not i8kutils, seeing as gkrellm is still \
fine ?
