i use kde 3.4.1/ kmail 1.8.1 with debian-gnu/linux, unstable. i have the same problem \
with a provider, that uses SMTP AUTH (PLAIN): the outgoing email, stays in the \
outgoing folder, and isn't been sent. kmail: no error, no warning, for now i startet \
to switch to the mozilla-mail-client wich works fine. i dont know that much bout this \
bug-tracking system. hope this is the right place. i am a little bit irritated, that \
the first entry of this bug-report here was written in the end of 2003. can it be \
that a big problem like this exists for such a long time?
