Sorry, but my problem is not that I can't edit a Makefile. If I select a file from \
the top level directory, i.e. where the *.kdevelop.* project files are, I can add \
this file to the project. Right mouse click yields a menu entry "add 'filename' to \
the project" (I'm not sure about the exact English version) and everything is fine.

Adding a file to the project has more consequences than just changing the Makefile, \
e.g. the contents of the file is also parsed and appears in the class browser.

Concerning CVS: it seems that Cervisia is not supported anymore, only CVS Service.
