I get this too, very annoying as it happens very often here. When working with the \
qtdesigner integration and a ui file, every now and then it starts switching really \
fast between the .ui file and the file next to it. So fast, it doesn't respond \
anymore to anything.

I get it very very often when I open my project and the right-most (tab-wise) file is \
a .ui file. It'll go crashing immediately upon opening kdevelop. I found that if I \
edit the projectdir/project.kdevses file and remove all .ui files from the \
DocsAndViews element (make sure you also edit the number parameter) kdevelop can load \
again, because it doesn't try to open the .ui files. 

I can continue to use kdevelop, but it crashing left and right with the switching \
tabs is annoying. That said, I'm getting fairly good at editing the .kdevses files.
