From kde-bugs-dist Wed Jun 08 05:14:22 2005 From: Jean-Damien Durand Date: Wed, 08 Jun 2005 05:14:22 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: [Bug 107014] New: kgpg from 3.4 and ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf from 3.3 Message-Id: <20050608071419.107014.Jean-Damien.Durand () cern ! ch> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=111820766620380 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107014 Summary: kgpg from 3.4 and ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf from 3.3 Product: kgpg Version: 1.2.1 Platform: Debian testing OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: bj altern org ReportedBy: Jean-Damien.Durand cern ch Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux If the gpg.conf contains lines like: debug-level none log-file socket:///home/jdurand/.gnupg/log-socket then kgpg 1.2.1 from kde 3.4.1 exhibits messages like: gpg: /home/jdurand/.gnupg/gpg.conf:16: invalid option gpg: /home/jdurand/.gnupg/gpg.conf:17: invalid option gpg: /home/jdurand/.gnupg/gpg.conf:16: invalid option gpg: /home/jdurand/.gnupg/gpg.conf:17: invalid option and in the gui no key is showing. These lines where added within kde 3.3.2 (a gui within kmail AFAIR) when I wanted to look at how kgpg from kde 3.3.2 behaved. If one removes the two offending lines then everything is fine. So this is perhaps a transition issue from 3.3.2 to 3.4.1: kgpg does not like all the lines in gpg.conf that were supported in 3.3.2?
