I think the implementation could be much easier. Just let amarok generate a mpd \
compatible playlist, save it on the server and let amarok control mpd. Amarok should \
be able to control mpd to go forward and backward in the playlist and show the \
current playing song. If Amarok exits, mpd should just keep doing the last command \
issued by Amarok, e.g. play the playlist.
