I too have seen this condition and this is indeed a bug and not a compile error.  \
There is an error in acinclude.m4.in that causes qt-mt not to be found on atleast \
some AMD64 systems when the libraries are in the standard /usr/lib64 etc.  I have \
attached a patch to this bug that fixes it on my system (Fedora Core 3, KDE 3.3, \
KDevelop 3.2).  I'm not sure if this reply would reopen the bug, but if it doesn't \
I'll file a new one.
