------- Additional Comments From karypid inf uth gr 2005-05-05 17:12 \
------- Yes. To reproduce do the following:

1) Select gstreamer output plugin
2) Make a zip file with some music files in it.
3) Open konqueror
4) Click on the zip file so that its contents show up in konqueror
5) Drag'n'drop the files to the amarok playlist
6) Press play (crashes)

After step file, if you look at the file meta-information by right-clicking \
on the file, you will see an error message reading:

This file does not exist: /path/to/test.zip/music.mp3

Perhaps a check of whether the file exists, before engaging with gstreamer, \
will suffice?

Anyway, note that:
1) xine engine fails to play (does nothing with no error displayed) \
_without_ crashing. 2) arts engine plays the file (naturally, as arts uses \
kio) with no problems.

I came across this back when I installed gstreamer and switched to using it \
instead of arts. I had the habbit of storing albums as one zip file...
