Summary: Kwifi should interface with the netapplet daemon, or the
Red Hat Network Manager daemon, or have one of it's own
           Product: kwifimanager
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: swinter kde org
        ReportedBy: evilhamsterman gmail com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

There are already two really good daemons that would allow the Kwifimanager to change \
the network settings on the fly without root privilages. The netapplet daemon from \
Novell/Suse and the network manager daemon from Red Hat. Both allow you to not only \
select from the best wifi network but also select the wired network if it is \
available. This would greatly improve the usability of the Kwifimanager, since they \
can already provide alot of the desired ability to the manager.
