Summary: can't read anything from serial port (fix)
           Product: kandy
           Version: 0.5.1
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: schumacher kde org
        ReportedBy: ytm elysium pl

Version: 0.5.1 (using KDE 3.4.0, PLD Linux Distribution)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (PLD Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11

Might be related to bug 96883. On my Motorola C550 connected via USB as \
/dev/usb/acm/0 kandy fails to read anything from the port. If minicom is started \
right after kandy it gets response from the phone, that should go to kandy.

The solution is to remove O_NONBLOCK flag from open() call in modem.cpp, \
Modem::open(). After that, everything works just fine.
