Don't know how to deal with this... The problem is: XV, v4l and v4l2 plugin MAY \
report different strings, to "autofixing" it would always corrupt the channel file  \
if you switch between the plugins. Not touching the encoding/source setting produces \
obscure behaviour... A dialog would work, but may be very annoying if it pops up for \
every channel you click on (a channel is selected before you can edit it). A "don't \
show this again" checkbox in the dialog will do the trick. Maybe I'll implement it if \
I find the time (I quite busy the next 2,5 months).
