I have been getting something similar over the last week. Some times kwrite fails to \
show the end of files i.e. when typing at the end of the page, pressing enter doesn't \
cause the scollable area to extend and therefore I can no longer see what is being \
entered. I have to do a quick Ctrl-S + F5 to reload and carry on. It seems quite \
random so can't really tell you much more than that.
