User is unable to empty trash can by right clicking trash icon and selecting to emty \
trash. option is not available.

delete option is available
when the delete option is selected, trash icon is moved to trash directory and new \
icon (standard folder) is recreated on the desktop.

General properties on the faulty trash icon are
type: Contains removed files
contents: folder
Location: /home/username/Desktop
size: 1.6kb(1607)
2 files, 0 Subfolders
