Summary: copy paste far too long from webpage
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: sthom t-online de

Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r3, ssp-3.3-7, \
                pie-8.5.3)
OS: Linux

The Webpage I used:
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/de/handbook/handbook-amd64.xml?style=printable&full=1

The Copy & Paste inside konqueror from webpages takes far too long as the copied \
content only contains at the end only flat unformatted text. This is maybe a klipper \
issue, but I haven't tested enough. I could emagine that copying the content to \
multiple formats ( like HTML-formatted stuff :-)) for using it eg. inside Kmail ) \
could take some time, but not for getting out simple text.

Data:
Pentium centrino 1.6GHZ (2MB cache)
Copy-Process-Time: about 2 minutes

At least, no crashes on this, but the first time I copied the content was with \
CTRL+a,CTRL+c,CTRL+c and I got just oneTOthree boxes inside Kmail. Then I tried with \
the menu functions and it worked. After I did that, also using keys worked. \
Disconcerting :O) especially for 'simple users'.
