This bug still remain digikam version 0.7, compiled gcc 3.3.5, operating system linux, debian testing.
I can download thumbnails from camera, but when I try download first picture
following error box appear "Failed to download file P1010001.JPG"

But if I try directly from command line 
"gphoto2 --port "/dev/ttyS0" --camera="Olympus C-800L" -p P1010001.JPG"
Download is succesfull.
