More info : I get a lot of

and occasionally some 
kmail: otherMsg is NULL !!! tryMe: 4148

and at the end
QGArray::at: Absolute index 26214828 out of range
*** KMail got signal 11 (Crashing)
KCrash: crashing... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = kmail path = <unknown> pid = 31565

hmm, I also notice that my box with 4475 messages, after the crash it contains 4581 messages
