This bug is present in KDE 3.4 with Gentoo.
My kicker panel is at bottom.
When kicker is minimized, _all_ icons in the desktop move up a little.
When kicker is maximized, _only_ the icons in the upper half of the desktop move down \
to the original position: the icons in the lower half move up. At login the same \
thing (as if kicker is maximized) happens. The result is that I can't keep icons in \
the bottom half of the desktop. They slowly walk up...
